Development Associate
Avery Comar joined the World Justice Project in June 2021 as the Executive and Development Offices intern. She has previously worked as a Global Programs intern at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, and as an Impact intern at the Small Enterprise Assistance Fund.
Avery holds a bachelor's degree from Miami University of Ohio in History and Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies. Her senior thesis analyzed narratives of progress and traditionalism in Brezhnev-era Soviet soft power. During her undergraduate degree, Avery studied abroad at Tallinn University (Tallinn, Estonia) and Goldsmiths, University of London (London, UK).
